About this project
The objectives of the PhD project is to reveal preferences of patients with cystic fibrosis (CF) related to their disease and treatment characteristics with stem cell-derived organoids, to inform clinical trial design and clinical end point selection for subsequent clinical research in CF.
The PhD student will acquire skills in qualitative empirical research (interviews, focus group discussions, …) as well as quantitative research (survey type, discrete choice experiments, …).
The PhD student will also learn on ethical and legal aspects related to treatments of CF, and can in that way also provide ethical and legal support for the selection of clinical study participants and inform inclusion and exclusion criteria for the clinical study.
