Introducing Woosub Shin DC12

My PhD goals: I hope to produce meaningful results during the project, while enjoying my time in Paris and Leuven.

My Background: I studied political science and mathematics at college but eventually became interested in mathematical reasoning applied to biology. After obtaining my master’s degree in biostatistics, I got a few years of research experiences mostly in systems biology. In ORGESTRA, I will be working on developing the estimand framework for confirmatory clinical trials using organoids.

My research interests: Informed decision-making, Bayesian reasoning, statistical computing
